Year 11 focuses on completing qualifications, consolidating employability and securing a positive next step: college, training, apprenticeship, school return or employment with training.

Seven ISS areas of learning
Every year-group plan is designed so learners experience linguistic, mathematical, scientific, technological, human and social, physical, and aesthetic and creative education through the mix of core and enrichment above, adapted to ages and aptitudes.
Assessment and evaluation
Summative qualification outcomes, destination tracker, final pathway review, family and commissioner reports, evaluation of pupil performance against starting point.

Adaptive teaching
Teaching follows the Adaptive Teaching Policy and individual support plans. Schemes of work for each subject set end points and weekly sequences. Pitch, scaffolds and challenge are matched to starting points, not a single year-group ceiling.
