Seven ISS areas of learning
Every year-group plan is designed so learners experience linguistic, mathematical, scientific, technological, human and social, physical, and aesthetic and creative education through the mix of core and enrichment above, adapted to ages and aptitudes.
Assessment and evaluation
Baseline refresh if needed, unit assessments, pathway preference review, careers action planning, support-plan updates.
Full procedures sit in the Assessment and pupil performance framework.
Adaptive teaching
Teaching follows the Adaptive Teaching Policy and individual support plans. Schemes of work for each subject set end points and weekly sequences. Pitch, scaffolds and challenge are matched to starting points, not a single year-group ceiling.
Schemes of work
Subject schemes covering Years 7 to 11 are published in the staff Scheme of Work library: Completed schemes.
Intended destination for this year
Informed transition into Year 10 Academic, Vocational or Sports pathway.
Quality assurance
