How the day is organised
- Teaching and learning: quality oversight by Sacha; classroom teaching and pathway delivery under agreed subject and pathway leads.
- Behaviour and welfare: led by Lloyd, with graduated support, Reflection Room, Focused Learning Zone and weekly incident review.
- Safeguarding: DSL and deputies; concerns logged and escalated without delay; external agencies involved where required.
- Attendance and communication: led by Amy, keeping parents and commissioning schools informed.
- Admissions: professional referrals overseen by the CEO with Student Services support.
Accountability cycle
Leads hold daily oversight, weekly review and termly evaluation across safeguarding, behaviour, attendance, curriculum and progress.
- Immediate reporting lines for safeguarding and serious incidents.
- Consistent behaviour expectations for every adult.
- Staff accountability for recording, communication and follow-up.
First aid and medical response
Designated first aiders include Amy, Lorelle and Ismail. Medical needs are tracked, incidents are recorded and families are informed. Where a young person has a healthcare plan, staff follow the published supporting medical conditions policy.
