Rewards and Recognition Framework 2026 to 2027

Every student should be recognised for positive behaviour, effort, progress and personal development. Rewards reinforce good choices, strengthen belonging and keep home connected through regular positive messages.

What we recognise

Excellent attendance, positive Behaviour for Learning, respect, kindness, resilience, personal progress, academic effort, leadership, engagement, teamwork and a positive attitude.

Daily

• Verbal praise, recognition points and certificates where earned.
• Positive text home where appropriate.
• 100% Tuck Shop Pass for meeting daily targets: three items from the tuck shop (including healthy options), typically used at Pause and Progress.

Weekly

• Student of the Week (one KS3 and one KS4): certificate, positive text home, tuck shop pass, £10 gift voucher and display on the recognition board.
• Judged on attendance, Behaviour for Learning, effort, engagement, respect and personal progress.

Half-termly

• Most Improved Student (KS3 and KS4): certificate, positive text, tuck shop pass and £10 gift voucher.
• Perfect Attendance Award: certificate, positive text, tuck shop pass and entry into the half-term prize draw.

Termly

• Achievement certificates, £20 gift vouchers, celebration lunch and recognition letter from the Deputy Centre Manager for consistent success.
• Students who consistently live our values may be invited on a reward trip (for example bowling, cinema, adventure golf, go-karting, escape room, outdoor activity or stadium tour, depending on plans that term).
• Student of the Term awards (including attendance, progress, leadership, resilience, positive role model and personal development) with certificate, £30 gift voucher, celebration board and positive text home.

• Strengthen home–school relationships through good news, not only concerns.
