At Evolution Education we believe in second chances and fresh starts.
We combine quality teaching with sport and personal development so every student can build confidence, resilience and ambition.
Our school is:
Safe and supportive – where wellbeing comes first.
Challenging and inspiring – with high expectations for every learner.
Inclusive and fair – valuing each student as an individual.
Our goal is simple: to help young people grow, achieve and succeed – in school, in work and in life.
Info for Parents & Carers
We know that mainstream school isn’t the right fit for every young person — and that’s okay. If your child has been referred to us, we’re here to help them feel understood, supported, and back on track.
This page is here to give you a quick overview of who we are, what we do, and how we’ll work with you and your child.
What We’re All About
We’re an Alternative Education Provision (AEP), which means we offer a different kind of learning experience for young people who, for various reasons, aren’t currently in mainstream school.
Some of our students may be:
Struggling with behaviour or focus in a traditional classroom
Dealing with mental health or emotional difficulties
Finding school overwhelming or not engaging
At risk of, or have already been, excluded
Just in need of a fresh start and more one-to-one support
What Your Child Can Expect
We create a calm, safe, and welcoming space where students are seen, heard, and supported — not judged. Here’s what makes us different:
Small groups and personalised support
Learning that’s built around your child’s needs and interests
A focus on wellbeing and confidence — not just academics
Staff who genuinely care and want to see your child succeed
Help with next steps, like returning to school, getting qualifications, or moving on to college or work
How We Work With You
You know your child best — and we want to work with you as a team. Communication is important to us, so we’ll keep in regular contact about how things are going.
We’ll check in often with updates
You’ll be invited to reviews and meetings
You can reach out to us anytime — no concern is too small
We’ll support you too, not just your child
