We offer the Duke of Edinburgh's Award so young people can volunteer, develop skills, get active and take on adventure with staff support.

Why this partnership matters
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is a recognised programme of challenge, service and personal growth.
At Evolution Education it gives learners a structured way to build resilience, responsibility and pride beyond the classroom, especially as part of Key Stage 4 personal development.
At Evolution
How we use DofE at Evolution Education
DofE sits alongside mentoring, sport and KS4 pathways. Young people work on the award sections with staff guidance, so challenge feels supported rather than overwhelming.
Activities are matched to the learner: volunteering, skill development, physical activity and expedition preparation where appropriate for the level offered.
Levels and expedition arrangements are confirmed with families and commissioners as part of the young person's plan. We will publish confirmed levels here as they are finalised.
