Inclusion and fairness

We are committed to inclusion, dignity and fairness for every young person and adult. Read our equality objectives below, and the full Equality Policy in the Policies area.

We are committed to inclusion, dignity and fairness for every young person and adult. We do not discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics, and we make reasonable adjustments so learners can access education.

Our Equality, Inclusion and Anti-Discrimination Policy sets out how we meet Equality Act duties across centres. The Centre Manager, Lloyd, is the named equality lead. You can read the full policy in the Policies area.

Equality objectives 2026 to 2029

What we will improve

Progress against these objectives is reviewed at least annually by the Centre Manager and Leadership Team.

Access and participation

Increase the extent to which disabled students and students with SEND can access the full taught and enrichment offer, so that reasonable adjustments are in place within two weeks of a placement starting.

A culture free from discrimination

Ensure every staff member completes equality and anti-discrimination refresh training each academic year, and that discriminatory incidents are logged, reviewed and followed up within ten school days.

Fair outcomes and transitions

Track engagement, attendance and next-step destinations so that no group defined by a protected characteristic is left without targeted support when a gap is identified, with a termly leadership review of patterns.
