Academic learning, practical skills, personal development and preparation for adulthood. Subjects are accessed through personalised pathways according to age, starting point, needs and goals.
How learning is organised
Intent to progression
Each subject is planned as a coherent journey: intent, knowledge, skills, application, assessment and progression.
Detailed lesson plans, student data and internal quality records stay in the staff portal and curriculum Drive, not on the public website.
Human and social learning
Citizenship, British Values and personal development
Human and social education runs through PSHE and RSHE, Citizenship themes, British Values, Wednesday assemblies, mentoring and awards such as The King's Trust Achieve.
There is no separate modern foreign language subject at this stage. Time is prioritised for literacy, numeracy, digital skills, applied science, sport and preparation for adulthood.
