Some young people need more support to settle, learn and feel ready for the day. We find out what helps, write a clear personal plan, and keep families and professionals involved.
Many of our learners need extra help with learning, feelings, friendships or the routines of school. Some have a formal plan agreed with their local authority. Others are still finding out what support works best.
We start by getting to know the young person. Staff look at what helps them feel safe, what gets in the way of learning, and how we can adapt teaching so they can succeed.
SEND Information Report
Schools and alternative providers are expected to publish a clear SEND Information Report. Ours explains how additional needs are identified, how support is delivered, how families are involved, and how exam access is considered.

Where a young person has an education, health and care plan, we work with schools and the local authority on consultation, agreed provision and annual reviews.
Interventions
Targeted support can include literacy and numeracy catch-up, mentoring, regulation support and small-group work.
Parent partnership
Families help us understand their child. We share progress in plain English and involve home in reviews.
Key Adult mentoring
A trusted adult who helps with settling, attendance and achievement.
