Careers education

Ready for what comes next

Impartial careers education helps young people plan routes into college, apprenticeships, training, employment and continued sport pathways.

Programme

Careers education in practice

Gatsby Benchmarks

Our careers programme is designed with regard to the Gatsby Benchmarks for good careers guidance.

Employer engagement

Encounters with employers and workplaces help young people see real options. Calendar detail is published as confirmed.

Apprenticeships

Learners explore apprenticeship routes and what successful applications need.

Enterprise

Enterprise projects build initiative, teamwork and an understanding of work and money.

Work experience

Where appropriate and safe, tasters or placements support pathway decisions.

Destination planning

Key Adults and careers guidance sit inside personal plans from early in the placement, including post-16 routes such as Elite Coaching Academy where a football-and-education sixth form pathway is right.

A student celebrating achievement with a stack of certificates

Recognised achievement

Qualifications young people can be proud of

Careers education sits alongside vocational awards, leadership certificates and personal development programmes.

Young people leave with evidence of what they have achieved, not just promises about what might come next.

Provider access

Education and training providers

Further education, technical education and apprenticeship providers may request access to talk to students in Years 8 to 11 about the courses and opportunities they offer.

Email admin@evolution-sportsgroup.com with the subject line Provider access request. Include your organisation name, a named contact, a short overview of your offer, preferred year groups, preferred dates, and confirmation that visiting adults will follow our safeguarding and visitor processes. We aim to respond within ten working days.

Opportunities are offered at induction and review points, destinations and pathways events, and Key Stage 4 post-16 planning windows. Full arrangements are set out in the Careers Education Policy.
