When a door opens
For many young people, arriving at Evolution Education is not simply a change of school. It is a new door opening: a fresh start, a calm routine, and adults who walk with them into the next chapter.
On behalf of our staff, welcome to Evolution Education. I am Lloyd, Headteacher and Centre Manager. My job is to lead the day-to-day life of the school so that every young person feels safe, known and able to succeed. When you walk through our door, you begin a new chapter with us.
We are a sport-specialist school for ages 11 to 16. Sport helps many of our learners settle, rebuild confidence and reconnect with learning. Teaching, mentoring and high expectations sit side by side. Every young person has a Key Adult who walks the journey with them.
Families and professionals matter to us. Places are arranged through schools and local authorities. When a young person arrives we take time on induction, clear routines and a personal plan so the first weeks set the tone for progress.
As Chief Executive, Eugene Dwaah holds Designated Safeguarding Lead responsibility and overall leadership of Evolution Education Limited. I lead the centre with our senior team: Sacha (Quality of Education and SEND), Amy (Pastoral, Student Services and HR), and a strong teaching and mentoring team.
We are preparing carefully for Independent School registration. Until that process is complete we describe our status accurately and keep improving our practice against the Independent School Standards, Ofsted expectations and local authority commissioning quality.
