What we collect and why
We only collect what we need for education, safeguarding and running the school lawfully.
Admission, attendance, learning, behaviour for learning, SEND support, safeguarding and pastoral records. Lawful bases include legal obligation, public task and vital interests where needed to protect a child.
Contact details and progress information shared with parents, carers, schools and local authorities where lawful and necessary.
Employment, safer recruitment and training records under legal obligation and contract.
Messages sent through contact forms, and cookies needed to run the site. Marketing photography, film and case studies are published only with appropriate consent and Leadership approval. We do not currently publish student case studies.
Website stories and media
We do not currently publish student case studies on the website because we do not hold the required consent for public use.
When we do publish stories or media, we use changed names and reduced detail where needed, avoid special category information in identifiable form, and require parent or carer consent (and young person agreement where appropriate) plus Leadership approval.
Parents, carers or young people can ask us to edit or remove a story or image by emailing admin@evolution-sportsgroup.com.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure where the law allows, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability where applicable.
Safeguarding and legal duties can mean we cannot delete or restrict some records. We explain that when we respond. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
Cookies
This website uses cookies or similar technologies needed for the site to work securely (for example session or preference storage). We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the public school site.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies may be required for parts of the site to function.
Access to personal data is role-based. Paper and digital records are secured. Suspected breaches are reported internally immediately and to the ICO within 72 hours where required.
We keep records only as long as necessary, with particular care for safeguarding records in line with KCSIE and local guidance.
