Reading for meaning, writing for purpose, vocabulary, grammar for clarity, and oracy for discussion, presentation and everyday life.
Assessment
Baseline reading and writing on entry, then formative and summative checks. Evidence may come from Natasha's live teaching, from Purple Ruler, or from both, depending on the blended route the learner is accessing.
Qualifications
Functional Skills English and GCSE English where appropriate to the pathway and starting point.
Progression routes
Stronger literacy for every subject, college readiness, and clearer communication for training and work.
