Knowledge and skills

Relationships and sex education appropriate to age, physical and mental health, online safety, rights, responsibilities and preparing for adulthood.

Assessment

Participation, reflection tasks and personal development targets reviewed with the Key Adult.

Qualifications

PSHE supports awards and personal development programmes such as The King's Trust Achieve where studied.

Progression routes

Stronger self-awareness, healthier relationships and readiness for adult life.

Planned around the young person

Every learner has a personal plan. Subject teaching is adapted to starting points, pathway goals and any extra support agreed with families and professionals.

Sport, mentoring and enrichment sit alongside subject study so young people can stay engaged and make progress that matters.
