We use Leadership Skills Foundation programmes so young people can lead, support others and earn recognised awards through PE Life Skills and Sports Leaders Level 1 and Level 2.

Leadership Skills Foundation programmes help young people practise leadership, communication and responsibility through sport and physical activity.
At Evolution Education, these awards strengthen our sports pathway and personal development offer at Key Stage 4, giving learners clear steps from foundation skills to supporting others.

How we use these programmes at Evolution Education
Leadership learning is woven into sport sessions, mentoring and KS4 pathways. Young people practise leading warm-ups, supporting peers and taking responsibility in real sessions.
Staff coach the habits behind the awards: clear communication, fair play, safety awareness and looking after others.
Progress is tracked as part of the learner's personal plan, so leadership awards sit alongside wider academic, vocational and destination goals.
