Bronze: adventure, service and real grit
We deliver the Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Bronze level. Young people volunteer, get active, build a skill and take on an expedition with staff beside them. It is demanding, memorable and widely respected.

Why Bronze matters here
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a recognised programme of challenge, service and personal growth that colleges and employers know and respect.
At Evolution Education, Bronze gives learners a clear structure: Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition. Challenge stays high, and adult support stays close, so young people finish something they can be proud of.
At Evolution
How we deliver Bronze at Evolution Education
Bronze sits inside KS4 sports and vocational awards time, with mentoring support. Ismail leads much of the sports and awards timetable. Centre leadership plans expedition staffing, dates and safety.
Activities are matched to the personal plan. Volunteering might be centre or community based. Physical often links to sport and fitness already on the timetable. Skills can connect to coaching, vocational subjects or other agreed interests.
Expedition arrangements, consent and kit are confirmed with families and schools before the trip. Progress is logged regularly so evidence does not pile up at the end of the year.
