Therapeutic approach
We combine clear boundaries with warm, consistent adults. Mentoring and restorative practice sit alongside teaching every day.
Practice
Trusted adults help young people settle. Relationships come first because learning is hard when a child does not feel safe.
After conflict we repair harm, rebuild trust and teach better choices, rather than relying on punishment alone.
Staff coach young people to name feelings, use calm-down strategies and return to learning when ready.
Steve Eusebe and Do The Mic Thing lead mentoring through music: a creative route into confidence, expression and wellbeing alongside everyday Key Adult support.
Key Adults provide consistent mentoring that links wellbeing, attendance, behaviour and academic goals.
Our therapeutic approach is woven through the school day: greeting, routines, sport, lessons and end-of-day reflection.
Where a young person needs specialist external support, we work with families and professionals to make that happen through proper channels.
